My visual designs over time, designed with everyday resources.

2017, USCG Community Services Command, Quarterly Benefit Poster. One of my first design tasks as a contract HR employee. I was given no tools or guidance, just a few content requirements regarding open enrollment requirements. I accomplished this using Microsoft Word and searching on Google for color wheels. I was asked to create this because while we had a small graphic design team in-house, the turnaround time was long for requested projects. The graphic design team did give me access to their stock images which were used above. My supervisor approved the design for print to hundreds of locations and asked me to design more quarterly benefit posters.

2017, USCG Community Services Command, Quarterly Benefit Poster. One of the insurance vendors gave us a "perk" of free communications printing which my supervisor wanted to take advantage of with quarterly posters sent to all Coast Guard Morale, Welfare, and Recreation offices, Coast Guard Exchange stores, and Coast Guard Child Development Centers.  This was my second design of the series using Microsoft Word again and stock images.

2017, USCG Community Services Command, Quarterly Benefit Poster. This was one of my last designs while working my contract. I was unable to get the graphic design team to give me the needed stock images before I left, hence the watermarks.  Also created using MS Word.

2022, Yes We Can (volunteer group), Postcard Logo. This was designed for postcard advertisements for a group I volunteer with called Yes We Can. This all-volunteer led group picks citrus fruit from trees on residential sites (with owner permission) to donate to local food banks. Their motto is "Yes we can feed the hungry."  It is a seasonal volunteer group as citrus ripens in the winter months in Northwest Florida. I used MS PowerPoint to design this including the fruits and the hand branches. I incorporated the initials of the group name into the image, with the C designed after the homemade hooks we use to pick fruit high on the trees.
